Obituary
On March 24, 2016, Mrs. Yvonne Alexandrine Mahé of Edmonton, formerly of St. Lina, passed away at the age of 93 years. She is survived by 5 sons & 11 daughters, Yvon (Mark Spinks), Maurice, Raymond (Charlene), Joffre (Colleen), Denis (Katy), Odile, Louise (Paul Turgeon), Simone (Norbert Winkelmann), Antoinette (Maurice Frèchette), Hélène (John Pejs), Yvette (Ira Feland), Jeannine (Roger Anctil), Alice (Hector Bessette), Gisèle (Cyril Amyotte), Suzanne (Armand Amyotte) & Paulette (Michel Bérubé); 41 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; brother, Adrien Lajoie; 2 sisters, Marie-Anne Gratton & Julienne (Louis) Hébert; 2 sisters-in-law, Louise Lajoie & Rosemarie Lajoie; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1984; parents, Athanase & Odélia Lajoie; 2 grandsons, Marcel Feland & Serge Mahé; great-grandson, Devin Kadatz; 3 brothers, Sigismond, Hervé & Georges; 3 sisters, Lucille, Thérèse & Gilberte; 10 brothers- & sisters-in-law. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gérard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Hélène Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Lina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Allan Gray Continuing Care, Edmonton c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
