On November 8, 2014, Mr. Willie Proskiw of St. Paul passed away at age 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Phyllis; 3 daughters, Brenda (Mike) Dowhun of Vegreville, Elaine (Marcel) Gill of St. Paul & Laurie (Calvin) Baronic of Sherwood Park; 3 sisters, Stephania Zalaski, Elizabeth Hasiuk & Rose (John) Krankowski; brother-in-law, Ronnie Wikman; sister-in-law, Noreen Zalasky; grandson, Travis Dowhun; granddaughters, Carmelle, Brittni & Shaina Gill, Calista & Brianne Baronic; aunty, Regina Proskiw; numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Steve & Grace; 2 brothers, John & Lawrence; 2 brothers-in-law, John Zalaski & Walter Hasiuk; sister-in-law, Mary Proskiw. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Myrnam.
