Obituary

On February 21, 2020, Tyrrell “Napew” Badger-Youngchief of Kehewin passed away at the age of 28 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Cherokee Shirt; son, Christian; adopted daughter, Ezayah; parents, Wayne YoungChief & Rita Badger; siblings, Keevin (Trudy), Shanlai (Celina), Stefan, Spencer, Katie & Nikita; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Tyrrell was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George & Freda Youngchief; maternal grandparents, Johnny James Badger & Lucy Alonia; brother, Bradley Shirt. A Wake will be held on Saturday, February 29 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Sunday, March 1 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. So sorry to hear about the passing of Tyrell, his loss will be felt by all those who knew him.
I got to know Tyrell working with him at Birch Creek Lodge and his beautiful wife Cherokee, he was funny, helpful and a loving husband, he will be greatly missed.
