Obituary

On March 29, 2016 Mr. Steve Halisky of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eleanor; his children, Rhonda (Bob) Konowalec, Donna Halisky, Cheryl (Mike) Cherniwchan, Bernice (Don) Sadoway, Randy Halisky (Shelly), Lorne (Karen) Halisky & Corinne (Doug) Watts; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Mathilda) Halisky; sister, Gloria Skura; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and George Halisky. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Smoky Lake Complex, Smoky Lake. Pastor Bill Kapitaniuk will be officiating with interment in Sunrise Community Cemetery, Smoky Lake. If desired, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Smoky Lake or Alzheimer Society c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
