Obituary
On March 19, 2013, Mrs. Shirley Orr of Elk Point, formerly of Mansfield, Ontario, passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by 3 sons & 1 daughter, Jim (Mildred) Orr of Elk Point, Robert (Ingrid) Orr of Mansfield, ON, Cindy (Marcel) Belanger of Two Hills & Ken (Debra) Orr of Elk Point; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Isabelle (Delmer) Leslie of Aliston, ON; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James & Gertrude Hawkins; husband, Elden; son, Gerald; daughter, Nancy; 2 grandchildren, Clayton & Jeffry Orr. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Elk Point Community Church, Elk Point. Pastor Bill Kryzanowski will be officiating with inurnment in Mansfield, Ontario at a later date. To Shirley’s Family: I received a call from Isabelle this afternoon telling me of Shirley’s passing. My mother Lois (Anderson) was Shirley’s cousin. Shirley and I talked on the phone usually about twice a year. She was always so interesting to talk to and so cheerful. I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
