Obituary
On March 27, 2019 Mrs. Shelley Gerlywich of Vilna passed away at the age of 52 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Terry; 3 daughters, Katelyn, Alicia & Shania; 2 brothers, John & Danny (Deb). She is also survived by Rosemarie & Barry Zelisko who hold a special place in her heart; goddaughters, Melissa Mitchell & Kristen Sherstenka; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Gerlywich was predeceased by her parents, Mike & Irene Sherstenka. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Pastor Wayne Johnson & Pastor Terry Luciow will be officiating with interment in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Vilna. If desired, donations may be made to NWT SPCA c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Relation: I worked with her mother-in-law for years and got to meet Shelley when she worked in her mom and dad's store and restaurant. I always found her friendly and helpful. I remember her mom's comment when Shelley met the love of her life. She said " i have never seen that girl stop smiling since she met him". And that was true.
Hello, I knew Shelley as a lovely gentle person, kind to everyone. I am shocked at her passing and want to express my sorrow for her loved ones. I look forward to seeing her in the resurrection. My love and prayers are with her family her made her so happy.
