On September 17, 2012, Mrs. Rose Kozicky of Elk Point passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by 2 daughters & 1 son, Jeanette Dowling of St. Paul, Rosemarie (Terry) Thompson of Surrey, B.C. & Gary (Maryanne) Kozicky of Elk Point; daughter-in-law, Bernie Kozicky of Elk Point; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; son, Rudy; sisters, Ann, Mary & Katie; brothers, Joe, Mike, Louis, George & Johnny. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, September 22 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Elk Point. Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger will be the celebrant with interment in Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northern Valley. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation c/o Box 1780, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A0. I was very fond of your Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma, Rose, and I enjoyed having covnersations with her. She was brilliant and witty, enthusiastic and spunky. I admired her strong character and her values, she was an interesting lady with a beautiful smile. We used to giggle a lot, and she often called me Shirley. We will miss her.
My thoughts are with you and your families. We will Remember the good times and find Strength in the memories of her.
