Obituary
On July 28, 2013, Mr. Ron Filewich of Lloydminster passed away at the age of 64 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jody; 2 daughters, Juanita (Gord) Brown of Cold Lake & Vicki Filewich of Lloydminster; 3 grandchildren, Brayden, Kaelan & Michael; mother, Mary (Bill) Danyluk (Filewich); 1 brother & 2 sisters, Jerry Filewich, Olga Pylypa & Janice (Sheldon) Roth. He was predeceased by his father, Mike Filewich; 2 brothers, Arthur & Harry. A Ceremonial Farewell will be held on Friday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. We regret not being able to attend the ceremony held for Ron and are reminiscing about the good times at Racette High School. Ron was an integral part of our group where we shared lots of laughs and good times during our many high school experiences. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Jody, and your family.

It was only thru coincidence that I (we) were made aware of Ron’s passing. I am sorry that I was not informed of his demise much earlier.
I am sure that other of his childhood friends will be shocked. I remember our childhood antics and good times with fondness.
