Obituary
It is with profound sadness that Most Rev. Paul Terrio, Bishop of St. Paul, AB, announces the sudden passing of Rev. Fr. Roger Guérin on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, in St. Paul, at the age of 83 years.
Father Guérin is survived by his siblings, Marcel, Jeannine Giroux & Jules all of Lac-Mégantic, QC, Lucille Hadley, Religious Sister Gabrielle Guérin & Maurice all of Montréal, QC. He was predeceased by his parents, Hormidas & Eva (née Turcotte) Guérin; 3 brothers & 1 sister, Jean-Denis, Madeliene, Sylvio & Pierre.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, with Rev. Fr. Peter Tran, Episcopal Vicar, presiding.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Most Rev. Paul Terrio will be the celebrant, with priests of the Diocese of St. Paul con-celebrating. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Clyde on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m.
