Obituary
On February 13, 2013, Mr. René Vallée of Mallaig passed away at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lillian; 5 sons & 1 daughter, George (Ann), Gisele (Frank), Gerald (Sylvie), Robert (Cyline), Normand (Chantal) & Denis (Marcelle); 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Therese (Edward), Laurette & Gilberte (René); sister-in-law, Rose. He was predeceased by his parents, Emile & Berthe; brother, Armand; sister, Germaine; 2 brothers-in-law, Philip & Clayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 18 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Mallaig. Reverend Father Dario Abram will be the celebrant, with interment in the church cemetery. My condolences to the Vallee family. Rene was a great guy. He always kept us entertained at the curling rink. He sure enjoyed his time at the rink. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.
