Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Phyllis Zarowny (Smith/Boos). She passed away peacefully on December 28, 2017 at Parkview Extended Care in Elk Point, Alberta, at the age of 87 years. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Laurie of Edmonton; son, Ted of Calgary; granddaughters, Brittany, Ashley & Keli; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Boos; second husband, Anton Zarowny; 1 brother & 4 sisters. Phyllis’ family will host a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Point Community Church, 4825 – 49 Ave., Elk Point, with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkview Extended Care c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
