Obituary
On January 31, 2024, Mr. Peter Joe McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his children, Cheyanne McGilvery, Peter McGilvery Jr., Ramone McGilvery, Autumn Harper, Madeline Harper & Lynn Harper; children that he raised as his own, Faleshia Harper, Katelyn Harper, Shirley Harper, Jordan Carter, Tanisha Makokis & Adam Makokis; sisters, Doris Benson & Judy McGilvery; half-brother, Gordon; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Peter was predeceased by his father, Gordon McGilvery; mother, Marie McGilvery (Budd Smith); paternal grandparents, Peter & Julienne McGilvery; maternal grandparents, Pierre & Betsy McCarthy; sisters, Shawna & Alvina McGilvery. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, February 7 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Onchaminahos School Gym, Saddle Lake.
