Obituary
On March 19, 2018, Mr. Oscar “Sonny” Berard of Edmonton, formerly of Goodfish Lake, passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by 4 sisters & 1 brother, Violet Jackson, Mary (Glen) Potts, Bertha (Barry) McCallum, Leonard Berard & Dale Berard; traditionally adopted daughter, Shania Jackson; uncle & aunt, Prosper Delver & Lillian Jackson; nieces & nephews, Billy (Leslie) Cardinal, Vanessa Cardinal, Mandy Cardinal, Brandi (Dallas) Berard-Morin, Shaun Berard, Jessica Berard, Nikki Berard, Brett Jackson, Derek Hunter & Gilbert Hunter; numerous other family & friends. Oscar was predeceased by his parents, Tony & Elizabeth; sisters, Shirley & Velma; 2 brothers, Danny & 1 in infancy; grandson, Ashton Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Monday, March 26 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake.
