LABINE, Oliver Charles
On September 25, 2015, Mr. Oliver Charles Labine of St. Paul passed away at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving children, Charles (Leona) of St. Paul, Roxanne (Derrick) Paquette of Red Deer, Virginia (Mike) Bentein of Kelowna, BC, Lisa (Joe) Brodbin & Linda (Marvin) Labine both of Clandonald; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Labine of St. Paul; 3 sisters, Louise Dewan of Elk Point, Kathleen (George) Hibbs of Kenora, ON & Adeline (Bill) Halverson of Tofield; 2 sisters-in-law, Hermonie Labine of Sherwood Park & Jean Labine of Salt Coats, SK; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Angeline; parents, Oliver & Cecilia Labine; 3 brothers, Wilfred, Floyd & Melvin; sister, Agnes. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Family Worship Centre, St. Paul. Reverend Duane Grant will be officiating, with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul. My condolences to the family & friends.
Uncle Oliver will be missed by all, I remember the days when dad & mom and us kids would travel to Elk Point and we would stay with Uncle Oliver & Auntie Angie kids Charles Roxanne,Virginia,Lisa, the music would fill the air with Uncle & Auntie playing music instruments, well one being the guitar. We always had a blast staying up way pass out bedtime, this memories I will always remember. Take care.

I am thankful for the friendship Mr Labine extended to my mom when they were neighbours at Sunnyside. Mom does not like pears and Mr Labine would trade bananas for pears. Just the passing of a fruit made mom’s day.

My mom and I met him once . We feel very blessed to have met Oliver. His son Charles has shared many memories with us about his mom and dad. Charles spoke of him very highly. Just remember we will see our loved ones again..
