Obituary

Held in the arms of his loving daughters, Norman passed away on August 14, 2012 at 12:45 p.m. at the age of 83. Norman was born in Theodore, Saskatchewan and lived in Edmonton, St. Vincent, Duffield and most recently Stony Plain. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Noreen (Marc) Brousseau & Shelley (Gilles) Brousseau; 2 beautiful granddaughters who loved their grandpa very much, Andrea & Nicole; sister, Veryl; 2 sisters-in-law, Marie Ibsen & Sylvia (Gary) Anderson; 2 brothers-in-law, Norman Slevinsky & Alex Slevinsky; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen in 2001. Thank you to the University of Alberta Hospital ICU & the physiotherapists for their tenderness, compassion & understanding. Lori, Gina, Angela, Mike & Dr. Dennis Djogovic will always have our eternal gratitude. Also, a special thank you to Auntie Marie for giving dad your love, care & companionship. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Sam Donaldson will be officiating and cremation has taken place.
