Obituary
On Monday December 19, 2016, Mr. Nick Tkachuk of Myrnam, AB passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Nick is survived by his caring wife of 65 years, Lillian (nee Misanchuk); his daughter, Karen (Bruce Street); his son, Randy (Charlotte); grandsons, Nicholas & Russell Tkachuk; as well as sisters-in-law Mary, Ann & Nellie; also numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, & of course his beloved cats. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Ilia & Marafta; his three sisters Odokia, Stephania & Sanda; & his five brothers, Manoly, Walter, Sylvester, Marshall & Nestor. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Myrnam. Reverend W. Sapiha will be officiating, with interment to follow at Krasna Hora Cemetery, Beauvallon. Donations would be welcome to Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, SPCA or a charity of one's choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
