On January 3, 2015, Mr. Nicholas “Nikolai” McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 17 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Darcy & Shannon McGilvery; brothers & sisters, Carmaine Cardinal, Jovan Cardinal, Sheldon McGilvery, Shauna McGilvery, Carly McGilvery; adopted brothers & sisters, Dallas Cardinal, Autumn Cardinal, Draydon Cardinal, Shania Cardinal, Dakota Cardinal, Shanelle Cardinal, Shandon Cardinal, Shalayna McGilvery & Henry (Josephine) Dion; auntie, Martha (Mike) Dion; uncles, Cary, Wayne & Carl McGilvery; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins; kokum, Eva Larondelle; paternal grandfather, David McGilvery; maternal grandparents, Louis & Gloria Moosewah. He was predeceased by his mother, Jeannette McGilvery; maternal grandparents, Annette & Don McGilvery; his uncle, Leslie McGilvery; auntie, Irene McGilvery & cousin, Lenette Dion. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, January 10 & 11 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake . A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
