Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mitch Germain, on January 11, 2021, at the age of 64 years. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. Mitch was born on June 2, 1956, the eighth boy born to a family of 10 children of Laurette & Phil Germain of St. Paul. He was raised in a large family, his upbringing was a sense of joy with many happy memories in a time that the joys came from just being together. Mitch’s imprint on his family & friends is undeniable. He will be sorrowfully missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Delia; 2 sons & 1 daughter, Shawn (Rachel) Germain, Alicia (Cody) Rudkowsky & Lance Germain; 4 grandchildren, Paisley, Oaklyn, Everly & Ryatt; siblings, Jack (Alvina), Ralph (Sylvia), Bernie (Faye), Claude, Claudette (Jim) Braun & Colette (Doug) Orlecki; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn & Loree Germain; numerous nieces & nephews. Mitch was predeceased by his parents, Phil & Laurette; 3 brothers, Marcel, Guy & Raymond; 2 sisters-in-law, Louise & Lana. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Alliance Church, St. Paul with Pastor Norm officiating. Those wishing to view the service online may do so by Livestream on Saturday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. by visiting http://stpaulalliancechurch.weebly.com/live-stream.html. My sincere condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Mitch for the last 18 years. He was a team player that made us laugh, offered advice and inspired all of us to succeed. He spoke frequently about fishing and hunting but more so of his pride and joy….family. Our thoughts and prayers with all of you. RIP Mitch.
