On April 11, 2015, Mr. Melvin Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his son, Micky (Tabitha) Collins; Micky’s mother, Gail Collins; 6 special grandchildren, Destiny Collins, Lenny Collins, Ariel Collins, Krystal Delver, Jenna Delver & Janelle Buffalo; brother, Terry (Sandra) Cardinal; 5 sisters, Clara (Alphonse) Delver, Jennie McGilvery, Bernice Cardinal, Judy Cryer & Lucia (Dennis) Moosewah; sister-in-law, Rena; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Moses & Celestine Cardinal; brother, Leonard Cardinal; sister, Sharon Cardinal; nephew, Joey Omeasoo; nieces, Bernice & Carrie-Lynn Delver. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, April 18 & 19 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
