On February 15, 2013, Mrs. Marie Carrier passed away at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her son Pierre (Olga) of Sherwood Park; daughter, Angele Duncan of St. Paul; 4 grandchildren, Bernie Carrier, Bryan (Marguerite) Duncan, Kathleen (Ken) Gerlinsky & Jennifer (Roger) Leroux; 8 great-grandchildren, Chantal Carrier, Michael Carrier, David Leroux, Natalie Leroux, Kayley Gerlinsky, Kara Gerlinsky, Toryn Duncan & Nyah Duncan; brothers, Alphonse & John Breland; sisters, Virginia (Mark) Matthews, Delia (Barry) Thompson & Loretta (Pat) Devlin. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred & Virginia Breland; husband Arthur in 1977; grandson, Dion Carrier; brothers, Edwin, Germain, Bernard, Isadore & Emile; sisters, Irene, Rose Ida, Lucille (Gerald) Pushor & Jeanette (Warren) Hennessey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society, or J.P.
