Obituary
On January 18, 2022, Mrs. Lucille Padlesky of St. Paul passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Dan; 5 children, Ron (Deb), Gary (Karen), Doug, Diane (Peter) & Joanne; 10 grandchildren, Heather, Ryan (Amanda), Tyler, Deziree (Ken), Veronica (Blaine), Niki, Brandon, Michael, Brandon (Paige) & Dana (Tony); 14 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Paxton, Sienna, Madelyn, Kiyah, Izzak, Anaya, Maleke, Arielle, Zavian, Caelynn, Ellis, Laine & Charlotte; sisters-in-law, Yvette Piquette & Agnes Piquette; numerous nieces & nephews & a community of friends. Mrs. Padlesky was predeceased by her parents, Robert & Yvette Piquette; 2 brothers, Paul & Rene; infant daughter, Diane; parents-in-law, Ann & John Padlesky; brothers-in-law, Victor (Mabel) & Ed (Lorraine). Cremation will take place, with inurnment at a later date in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul. So sorry to hear of Lucille’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. Visiting with her was something I will always remember whether it was sitting on the driveway with the garage door open or at her kitchen table. Her sense of humor and love of laughter always brightened my day. A 15 minute coffee break or even an hour for lunch wasn’t long enough when I was talking with Lucille. She always raised such beautiful tomatoes and took such pride in her yard. And to see her rolling around the neighbourhood on her bike always made me smile. She had such a wonderful spirit. My sincere condolences to Danny and all her family. May many happy memories bring you comfort.
