On April 10, 2021, Mr. Louis Didier Gamache of St. Paul passed away at the age of 96 years. He is survived by his children, Aline, Laurent (Inez), Réal, Nicole (Dominic) Currie, Lise, Marie (Michael) Hauptman & Louis (Dayna); 12 grandchildren, Lee (Marc), Lucienne, Nicolas, John D. (Jodi), Kevin (Melissa), Ryan (Kristin), Kurtis (Liana), Kelly (Randi), Tricia (Michael), Adrien (Karlli), Katelyne (Luc) & Evan; 21 great-grandchildren, Riley, Kaislyn, Koehan, Haiden Rae, Hudson, Harper, Nash, Colt, Tyler, Travis, Felicity, Ayla, Jonah, Seth, Asher, Jersey, Bella, James, Judah, Eli, Olivia & Owen; brother, André (Rita); sister-in-law, Marie-Rose Lapointe; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Gamache was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Madeleine; parents, Arthur & Lucienne; siblings, Sr. Berthe, Raymond, Sr. Françoise, Lucien, Pauline & Gilles. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. Mon meilleur souvenir c’est quand il venait nous aider avec les foins et les battages et on apportait le dîner dans champs. Il était toujours souriant et de bonne humeur. Je me souviens aussi lorsque notre étable avait brûlé et il était venue nous aider. On était très reconnaissant! Très beaux souvenirs de notre cher voisin.
