Obituary
On July 28, 2021, Mrs. Lena Pashko of Myrnam passed away at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Yaremchuk & Carole Myshaniuk both of Myrnam; grandchildren, Jamie (Deirdre) Myshaniuk & Derek Myshaniuk both of Myrnam, & Dana (Patrick) Jawa of Cold Lake; great-grandchildren, Dymitri, Lukas & Larysa Myshaniuk, Lincoln & Zoya Jawa; foster brothers, Allan (Isla) Babysh of Edmonton & Ed Babysh of Surrey, BC; sister-in-law, Eva Halisky of Edmonton; numerous family members of the Wusyk, Babysh & Pashko families; many friends & neighbors. Mrs. Pashko was predeceased by her husband, Bill; son, Ken; infant daughter, Rosann; grandson, Jeremy Myshaniuk; sons-in-law, Morris Yaremchuk & Edward Myshaniuk; foster parents, Mike & Mary Babysh; foster sister, Rita (Larry) Yakiwchuk; & foster brother, Arthur (Joan) Babysh. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Myrnam. Reverend Father Wasyl Sapiha will be officiating, with interment in Krasna Hora Cemetery, Beauvallon. If desired, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church or Krasna Hora Cemetery c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I, as so many others were fortunate and greatful to have met and been with such a wonderful person. She dealt with challenges in a quite, gentle way – her memory will be cherished.
