Obituary
On November 10, 2019, Mrs. Lena Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her loving children, Yvonne, Georgina (Teddy), Geraldine, Albert Jr. (Cheryl), Ann (Fabian), Augustine & Angelina (Ron); Goddaughter, Emily Delver; adopted son, Leonard Jackson (Elizabeth); adopted daughters, Marveena Pewapskisoniyas & Chrisyann (Dusty) Steinhauer; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Prosper (Lillian) Delver, Alphonse Delver & Nancy Cardinal; numerous nieces & nephews. Lena was predeceased by her husband, Albert A. Cardinal; sons, Allen & James; adopted son, Ronnie Cardinal; daughter, Shirley Delver; stepdaughter, Lorraine Semagenas; grandsons, Titus Cardinal & Jesse Jackson; granddaughter, Kimberly Cardinal; great-grandsons, Leo & Leum Cardinal; parents, Norris & Veronica Delver; sisters, Theresa, Clara & Eva Delver; brothers, John, Jerome, William & Louie Delver. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, November 14 & 15 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
