On March 21, 2024, Ms. Lavina Mina Jackson of St. Paul, formerly of Goodfish Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 86 years. She is survived by otawâsimisa, Ronald (Vivian) Jackson, Elda Jackson &Wayne (Tracy) Jackson; ôsisima, Penny Jackson, Candice Jackson, Kyle (Jana) Jackson, Rae-Anna Jackson, Garrett Jackson, Nicole Jackson, Hyapatia Jackson & Waskway Jackson; otâniskotâpâna, Tre, Gavin, Cassius, Autumn, Nathanyal, Marcus, Destynd, Vance, Aurora, Reo, Lovella, Kaydrin, Elvanna, Catherine, Kona & Oliver; nîswâw otâniskotâpâna, Sundance & Romeo. Lavina was predeceased by onîkihikwa, Noah & Charlotte Jackson; otânisa, Wanda Jackson; wîtisâna, Thomas Jackson, Willard Jackson, Mackenzie Jackson, Lydia Jackson, Inez Jackson, Gladys Jackson & 3 other infant sisters lost in memory; otâniskotâpâna, Rome Jackson. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, March 27 (viewing at Grace Gardens & leaving at 1:00 p.m.) at the Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre. The family will officiate the ceremony, with interment at the ispatinahk Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
