Obituary
On May 18, 2015, Mr. Kenneth Joshua Whiskeyjack (Diesel) of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 49 years. He is survived by 2 sons & 1 daughter, Chavves Cardinal, Clarissa (James Mitchell) Cardinal & Narcisse Whiskeyjack; mother of his children, Trish Cardinal; a grandchild on the way; siblings, Nancy H. Cardinal, Louie (Lena) Lapatak, Morris (Violet) Whiskeyjack, Lazare (Roberta) Whiskeyjack, Alsena (Alex) White, Pearl (Harley) Cardinal, Anthony Whiskeyjack (Frieda Quinney), Mabel (John) Shirt & Gabriel Whiskeyjack; uncle, Alex Whiskeyjack; auntie, Josephine Cardinal; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ben & Caroline Whiskeyjack; grandparents, Joshua & Matilda Whiskeyjack, and Edward & Maggie Cardinal; sisters, Mary, Kathleen & Emma; brothers, Freddy, George, Joe & David. A Wake will be held on Sunday & Monday, May 24 & 25 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. Special thanks to the Friendship Center, the Backstreet Boys, the RCMP, St. Therese Hospital, Wellness Centre, Fountain Tire, Saddle Lake Health Centre & anyone else who helped Ken along the way.
