Obituary
Keith George Jenkins passed away peacefully at the U of A Hospital on January 25, 2016 after a valiant battle fighting bone marrow complications. Keith was born in Elk Point on May 9, 1976. He was the youngest of 3 children. He enjoyed many years hauling oil for various companies in his “beloved” Kenworth. He had a passion for mechanics but his greatest passion was Fords and his prized Mustang. Keith enjoyed the outdoors, quadding, snowboarding, playing cards and being with his family who he loved to tease and poke. Keith is survived by his common-law wife, Candace Fayant; son, Xavier; loving mother, Leona Durocher; sister, Rhonda Jenkins; special niece, Mikala & his furry feline friend, “Fluffball”. Keith is predeceased by his brother, Dwayne Jenkins; father, Harley Jenkins; maternal grandparents & paternal grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Elk Point. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to Tom Baker Cancer Centre (Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic) or S.T.A.R.S Foundation c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
