Obituary

On October 9, 2017, Katie Didzena of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 28 years. She is survived by her loving children, Victor, Sheldon, Katie & Louis; father, Archie Cardinal; 2 sisters & 2 brothers, Claire Didzena, Gregory Hunter, Evelyn K. Cardinal & Arthur Didzena; numerous uncles, aunties, nieces & nephews; as well as many relatives from Dena-Tha First Nations. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary; brother, Winbert Didzena; & daughter Kayla Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Friday, October 19 & 20 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 11:00 am. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
