Obituary
On May 16, 2014 Mrs. June Rainboth of Elk Point passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her loving companion, Bill Schuhmacher; 9 children, Gayle Gladue, Rubye Lacombe, Lawrence (Therese) Lacombe, Agnes (George) Brosseau, Ferlin Lacombe, Brent Lacombe, Carmella (Roy) Lacombe all of Fishing Lake, Erna & Sandra; 1 adopted daughter, Marie Myers of Fishing Lake; 31 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Eleanor Blakeley of Edmonton. She was predeceased by 6 sisters, Floy, Jenny, Thelma, Edith, Ruby & Veryl; 2 brothers, Lester & George; 1 daughter, Iris. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Point Community Church, Elk Point. Pastor Bill Kryzanowski officiating with cremation to follow. Grandma, Chris, Nahanni, Siselia and I will miss you more than words could express. You were a great Grandmother to me over the years. Even though we have lived a great distance away. You always called me to tell me you loved and cared for me and my family. The past few days all the memories have come flooding back to me. I will always love you and know that regardless of your many children/grandchildren that you will be with me on this journey we call life. I hold you in high esteem and always will. And you know what Grandma, I will learn how to knit (even if it kills me). I can’t believe your gone from this world but I know in my heart you are in a better place. No more pain now Grandma, just peace. Kisses and hugs!
