Obituary
On June 8, 2015, Mrs. Josephine Garwasiuk of Vegreville, formerly of St. Paul, passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her 2 sons, Ronald (Genie) of St. Albert & Kenneth (Krista) of Kelowna, B.C.; 2 daughters, Marie (Brian) Baron of Vegreville & Shirley (Jean-Paul) Dubrule of Medicine Hat; 12 grandchildren, Alison, Wesley (Jessica), Adam & Laura Garwasiuk, Kory & Kristopher (Kelsey) Garwasiuk, Samuel, Matthew & Jenna Baron & Kristen, Kelsey & Kolbie Dubrule; 3 great-grandchildren, Blake, Charlie & Kruz; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel in 1973; parents, Stanley & Julianna Nichiporik; 4 brothers, Walter, Mike, Phil & Henry. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. A Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be the celebrant, with interment in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul.
