DEMCHUK, Josephine
On June 9, 2015, Mrs. Josephine Demchuk of Myrnam passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her 2 sons & 1 daughter, Don Demchuk of St. Paul, Joy (Patrick) Dunleavy of Toronto, ON. & Alan Demchuk of Leduc; 4 grandchildren, Chad (Kim), Tara (Terry), Patrick & Andrew; 3 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Michael & Emma; nephews, Barry (Gail) Kitt. She was predeceased by her husband, Reece; parents, Philip & Lena Kitt; brother, John (Verna). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Myrnam. Joyce, Alan and Donnie, so sorry to hear about Josephine. So many wonderful memories of spending weekends at Reece and Josephine’s … she was certainly like a second mom to me. I pray that God’s peace and comfort will be with all of you during this time. I love you all and will see you at the funeral.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your mom. Joyce, Alan and Don. It is many years ago since we were kids, played and rode the bus together. I still remember the times we would be over visiting on a Saturday evening and your mom would always have some wonderful baking and goodies. I’ll always remember her as a kind, caring woman. I have an appointment in the city so I cannot attend, but my thoughts will be with you all. May your memories be eternal.
