Obituary
On April 17, 2014, Mr. John Whitford of Whitefish Lake passed away at the age of 49 years. He is survived by his loving children, Brent Brertton of Fort Saskatchewan, Cheyanne Brertton of Prince George, B.C. & Darius Brertton of Fort Saskatchewan; mother of his children, Cindy Brertton; 8 grandchildren, Angel, Skylar, Richard, Brent Jr., Nataiyo, Derron, Sapphira & Theasius; siblings, Rose Whitford of Vilna, Silas (Muriel) Whitford, Robert (Doris) Whitford, Henry Whitford & Vernon Whitford all of Goodfish Lake, Theresa Houle of Floating Stone; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Wesley & Edith “Ada” Whitford; brother, Carl Whitford; sister, Mavis Whitford; 3 nephews, James Whitford, Sydney Whitford & Darcy Whitford. A Wake will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 22 & 23 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake.
