Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband, Dad & Grandfather, John T. Semeniuk of Smoky Lake. He passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen “Elsie” of 56 years; daughter, Valerie (Randy) Franchuk of Smoky Lake & their children, Ryan (Chelsea Pickett), Scott & Amanda (Mike MacMillan); son, Gordon (Laverne) of Smoky Lake & their children, Jennifer & Kevin (Tannis); 3 brothers, Nicholas (Helen) of Edmonton, Andy (Sharon) of Smoky Lake & Steve (Shirley) of Edmonton; 3 sisters, Kay Dugger, Phyllis (George) Moskalyk & Eunice (Don) Wallace all of Edmonton; 4 sisters-in-law, Lillian, Wendy, Lovette & Frances Semeniuk; 2 aunts, Helen Cholak of Lamont & Clara Semeniuk of Calgary; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony & Mary; infant son, Robbie; 4 brothers, George, Harry, Bill & Alec; sister, Ann (Paul); & brother-in-law, George Dugger. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at National Hall, Smoky Lake. Reverend Father Gerasim Power will be officiating, with interment in Holy Trinity Russo-Orthodox Cemetery, Smoky Lake.
