First we met Paige (skiing at Jasper) later we became acquainted with Paiges Dad and Mom. Then we knew where he got his dynamic personality from.
We had the pleasure of having Jack as a ball coach for some of our daughters.
He was always fun and easy to visit with.
PS Paige is a dare devil on skis.

The White Family –
I write to express to you and your family the sincere condolences of the Patricia’s on the passing of Jack White, SN SF6934. I cannot say with full confidence that I met Jack as our periods of service only briefly overlapped, but I had an instructor – Sergeant White of the PPCLI, in 1964, who was a real inspiration to the younger enlistees. Jack would have been about 29 years old then.
The Regiment remembers Jack White’s service, and the family I am sure is proud of that service. His name will be read in this year’s list of the lost when we read that out on November 11th, 2021 in the Sacred Space in Beechwood, the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. His name will also be listed in the 2021 edition of the Patrician’s Last Post section.
Thank you all.
Brigadier-General Vince Kennedy (Retired)
Colonel of the Regiment
