Obituary
On May 24, 2017, Mr. Jody Lecopoy of Elk Point passed away at the age of 46 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Rhonda; daughter, Ashley; mother, Gloria Lecopoy of Elk Point; siblings, Bonny Lecopoy of Calgary & Chris Lecopoy & his son, Andrew of Elk Point; mother- & father-in-law, Val & Willie Poitras of Elk Point; 2 sisters-in-law, Roxanne (Brad) Gunderson & their children, Hayden & Chloe, & Colleen (Mark) Fortin & their children, Emily, Hannah & Grace; brother-in-law, Wade (Lori) Poitras & their children, Chad & Jenna; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Larry; & grandparents. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Allied Arts Centre, Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating. I’m terribly sorry to hear of the tragic way that Jody went, Rhonda. Although your soul mate has been taken away involuntarily, while leaving you to wonder why and in deep pain, your one consolation may be that you still have a part of him in your little daughter. and that will help to rebuild your strength and ease the suffering.
Jody as well as yourself were very good friends to me . He will always be remembered with fond memories.
