On August 2, 2015, Mrs. Joanne Bernard of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 47 years. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Natasha Bernard and Rachel Bernard of St. Paul; 9 grandchildren, Sasha, Carmalita, Angel, Isaiah, Curtis, Rayden, Joanna, Farron & Marcus; 3 brothers, Jake (Lucy) Bernard, Barry “Andy” Bernard & Silver “J.R.” Bernard (Lisa Sparklingeyes); 2 sisters, June Bernard & Rachel Steinhauer (Kevin Moses); special aunt, Nancy H. Cardinal; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Lena Bernard & Silver Sebest; 2 brothers, Carl E. Bernard & Raymond G. Bernard; maternal grandparents, Matthew & Rachel Cardinal; paternal grandparents, Steve & Annie Sebest. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, August 8 & 9 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
