Obituary
On April 15, 2013, Mrs. Jennie Bobocel of Lac La Biche, formerly of Owlseye, passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her 3 sons, Ed (Sandra) Bobocel of Lac La Biche, Ward (Pat) Bobocel of Lac La Biche & Roman Bobocel of Innisfail; 5 daughters, Irene Ostapovich of Smoky Lake, Marie (John) Labant of Owlseye, Betty-Anne (Wayne) Whalley of Edmonton, Bernice (Randy) Sewell of Sherwood Park & Diane (Elvyn) Lander of St. Albert; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 sisters, Mary Karpyshyn of Smoky Lake, Rose (Laddick) Chorney of Sugden, Virginia (Bill) Kuzma of McRae & Katie Kochanowsky of Edmonton; sister-in-law, Laureen Darda of Sherwood Park; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, Steve; son-in-law, Joe Ostapovich; grandson, Lorne Labant. Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Friday, April 19, from 7:00 – 8:00p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 20, at 11:00a.m. at Kingdom Hall, St. Paul. Mr. Reinhold Schneider will be officiating with interment in Willowgrove Cemetery, Owlseye. We are so sorry for your loss. Jennie had a very special place in my heart..She was like a second mother to me. Her door was always open to me and I never left her home without an abundance of food. She accepted everyone for whom they were and never placed judgement on anyone or said an unkind word about anyone. We send our condolences to her wonderful family.

Auntie Jennie will aslways have special place in my heart and fond memories. She always had a hug for us kids and made the best homemade cottage cheese and she always remembered it was my favorite.
