On May 8, 2015, Mrs. Helen Funk of Edmonton passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by 4 sons & 2 daughters, Roy of Vancouver, B.C, Jean of Edmonton, Dewey (Elissa) of St. Albert, June of Calgary, Bernie (Pam) of Fox Creek & Wayne (Jane) of Calgary; 6 grandchildren, Stephinie (Sean), Justin, Brittany (Alex), Daylene (Kwaku), Olivia & Kate; 2 great-grandchildren, Kingston & Ariella; sister-in-law, Doreen Gordey. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry; & brother, John. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Anglican Church,8424-95 Ave., Edmonton. Reverend Stuart Ravnsborg will be officiating, with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Edmonton. If desired, donations may be made to Ladies Auxiliary of the Strathcona Legion, Branch 150 (no tax receipt) or The Greater Edmonton Poppy Fund (charitable tax receipt) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
