Obituary
Born in St. Paul on April 22, 1956, Mr. Harvey Floremont Malo of Fort Saskatchewan, formerly of Lake Country, BC, passed away on December 29, 2015 at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his loving children, Tina (Jason) Christensen, Tanya (Brock) Guthrie, Trisha Malo, Shane (Tanya) Malo & Amy Malo; 14 grandchildren, Jordan, Dakota, Jaycee, Gaige, Cruz, Jax, Brandon, Chase, Carson, Aiden, Annika, Dayten, Saylah & Rowan; mother, Lucille (Romeo) Gascon; 2 brothers, Yves (Sharon) Gascon & Luc (Debie) Gascon; sister, Corrine Kostrub; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Rolland Malo; & brother-in-law, Larry Kostrub. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I am a friend of Harvey’s. l hung out a lot with Harvey when he lived in Lethbridge. I played baseball with him. If I had to describe him with one word the word would be “fun”. We had a lot of fun ball tournaments in Calgary/Kalispell. He would make every game. He even played in a snow storm with a broken rib or two. My condolences to his family. We will all miss him and his humor.
