Obituary
On December 19, 2015, Mrs. Haffie Melnychuk of Spedden passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by 2 daughters & 2 sons, Mary (John) Tywoniuk of Stony Plain, Irene Sirant of Barrhead, Metro (Pam) Melnychuk of Vilna & Terry Melnychuk of St. Paul; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Kwasnycia of St. Paul; sister, Mary Malayko of Hairy Hill; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick; 2 sons-in-law, Fred Romanchuk & Henry Sirant; daughter-in-law, Trudy Melnychuk; grandson, Dennis Romanchuk; & granddaughter, Debby Romanchuk. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Spedden. Reverend Father Wasyl Sapiha will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. I am so sorry to hear that Haffie passed away.
I met her when she lived in the trailer.
We had very many discussions together about the Bible and I always appreciated her love for what is right. She also had a good sense of humour.
I was able to see her in the hospital on several occasions.
I will miss her dearly.
We often talked about the future when the Bible promises no more death. John 15:28,29
