Obituary
On April 29, 2014, Mr. Gilbert Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Cardinal; 11 children, Jon Cardinal (Lavern), Jordan (Jannay) Cardinal, Jeremy (Candace) Cardinal, Nicole Sharphead, Derek Whitford, Gilbert Jr. Cardinal (Lacey), Samantha (Dan) Cardinal, Benjamin (Leslie) Cardinal, Tamara Cardinal, Skye Cardinal & Gabby Cardinal; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; mother, Rita; father, Herman; siblings, Charlene Cardinal (Randy), Joyce (Kurtis) Steinhauer, James (Cathy) Steinhauer, Vernon (Violet) Steinhauer, Valerie (Earl) Pasquayak, Koren Steinhauer, Calvin (Leslie) Steinhauer, Andrea (Dave) Steinhauer & Marshall Steinhauer; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Bobby Steinhauer; granddaughter, Tara; maternal grandparents, Lloyd & Emma; paternal grandparents, Harrison & Marie Steinhauer. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
