Obituary
On September 15, 2015 Mr. George Whitford of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Delia; children, Georgette (Joe) Dion, Orville (Candace) Memnook, Melanie (Travis) Matchatis, Daphne (Waylon) Favel, Charlene (Randy) Metchewais, Leonard (Lorna) Memnook, Wanda (Elmer) Whitford, Dennis (Christianne) Morin, Barclay Batoche, Cathy (Charles) Trembley, Charlotte (James) Lavalee, Charis Memnook & Lyndon (Kim) Memnook; adopted son, Robert Jackson (Lep); grandchildren, Chelise, Cassidy, Grayson, Reyhan, Gavyn, Westyn, Joleigh, Kaleigha, Alyssa, Kaycee-Jo, Dawson, Macy, Traylem, Tyrese & Racheal; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kenna, Liam, Deshaun & Kingsley; numerous other grandchildren & great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Myrtle Matiste, Henry (Angie) Whitford, Dehlia Steinhauer, Virginia Whitford, Mary Brertton, Arnold Whitford & Dwayne Whitford; special aunt, Maggie Houle; uncle, William Whitford; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy Whitford & Charlotte Houle & Edna McGilvery; 2 brothers, Allan Whitford & Gordon Steinhauer; uncle, Allan Houle; 7 infant grandchildren; 1 infant great-grandchild. A Wake will be held on Saturday & Sunday, September 19 & 20 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday,September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake.
