Uncle George will always hold a very special place in our heart. He had a heart of gold. I have very many precious memories, especially the memory of seeing the excitement on his face when he was reeling in a fish at Moose Lake. Our sincere condolences to all of the family. From: Cindy Kuchka (Filipchuk)

My condolences to all the family. Your mom and dad were a part of all of our growing up years, as we all grew up together. When you come from Glendon, we were all family. Remember the good times with your dad. He was such a nice man and will be remembered fondly by so many. And that is a wonderful legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Uncle George.
He was truly the best Uncle anyone could ever have.
I will cherish the many joyous memories we had with him.
Most prominently remembered are the many nights that
George and Jenny (Mom) were engaged in a battle of cribbage together.
May they now be “double skunking” each other in Heaven.

Sending our condolences to Uncle George’s family. Remembering all the family visit’s to my dad’s (Metro) farm and the fun times that we had. Uncle was a very kindhearted man & always had a smile on his face. Rest in Peace, Uncle George.

Uncle George was a younger brother of my mother (Florence). I have many memories of Uncle George when visiting grandparents Gido and Baba on farms out West, where we spent summers visiting from Ontario. I remember his kindness in showing my sister Kathy and I the old homestead and other sights when we went to the family reunion in 1999. Most recently when he visited his sister Jenny in Ontario, I had an opportunity to catch up with him. I’ll remember him for his kindness and sense of humour. He is at peace now with my mother and the rest of the family.
