Obituary
On March 1, 2024, Mrs. Florence Labant of St. Paul passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her 4 daughters & 1 son, Debbie (Ernie) Melnychuk of Spedden, Brian Labant of Quesnel, BC., Donna (David) Hanson of Owlseye, Shawna (Jim) McGonigal St. Paul & Lorna (Joe) Schaar of Carvel; 17 grandchildren & 31 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Edna Bohachyk of Edmonton, Gustine (Maurice) Riopel of Edmonton & Marlene Weaver of Gull Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; son, Myron; parents, Gus & Florence O’Neill; brother, Lonnie; & sister, Margie Gordon. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Andrij Nykyforuk will be officiating with interment in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul.
