On January 7, 2015, Mrs. Elizabeth Dumais of Cold Lake, passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Raymond) Berlinguette of St. Paul, Gloria Biggar (Chris) of Medicine Hat, Mavis Essiambre of Edmonton, Lena (Loren) Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Lola (Colin) Favel of Goodfish Lake, Danny Dumais of Cold Lake, Johnny (Lianne) Dumais of Cold Lake, Irene (John) Wright of Edmonton, Mary Dumais of Edmonton, Peter (Sharon) Dumais of Big Island, SK. & Patricia (Andrew) Berkshire of Edmonton; 39 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchilden; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Freddy Dumais of Alexander. She was predeceased by her parents, Louie & Alice Dumais; 2 brothers & 2 sisters; common-law spouse, William Onuferchuk; 3 great-grandchildren. Paying of last respects will be held on Monday, January 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, January 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. We want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to all family members and friends who are grieving at this time. It’s hard to know what to say at times like this, but please find comfort in what it says at John 5:28&29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” Imagine the joy of welcoming our loved ones who will be resurrected back to life as promised in that bible verse. Till then, it’s like they are “sleeping.” (Please read John 11:11-14) As well, there will soon come a time when disease, sickness and pain will be gone forever. (Please read Revelation 21:4) May these sure promises bring you comfort.
