Obituary
On January 19, 2021, Mrs. Eileen Franchuk of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 80 years. She is survived by 2 sons & 2 daughters, Harold (Cindy Lou) of Andrew, Cynthia Dobush of Edmonton, Carol (Randy) Mykitiuk of Smoky Lake & Dave Franchuk of Edwand; 6 grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan), Dale (Cassy), Greg, Hayley, Morgan & Colton; 3 great-grandchildren, Logan, Katelyn & Allison; 2 sisters, Cassie Croutze of Edmonton & Betty (Frank) Jacobs of the County of Lamont; numerous nieces & nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Ernest; son, Harvey; infant grandson, Harold Michael; parents, Harry & Katie Andruchow; & brother, Henry. Eileen’s family wishes to thank the Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre staff, with extra mention to Nurse Melissa & Dr. Hendrik Lourens. Cremation has taken place. Heartfelt sympathies Harold & Cindy..A mom is a mom forever and one that loves us unconditionally regardless of our age. She will now be reunited with your dad and if I remember my dad’s friendship with your dad..they will all be laughing, sharing stories and having a few perogies and kubasa. Not having my parents any more still has empty moments but I know they watch over me, as yours will with you. Your mom will be very proud of your ranch, your hard work ethic and all the wonderful animals you rescue and treat as your children. May your mom RIP
