Obituary
On November 10, 2019, Mr. Doug Weibel of Saddle Lake, formerly of Owl River, passed away at the age of 57 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise; children, Nicholas (Tanya) Giant, Lionel (Chantelle) Giant, Elise Giant (Terry Arnett) , Douglas Jr. Giant, Julian Giant & Candace (Leroy) Half; 14 grandchildren, Simone, Tahnaya, Calantha, Tirion, Taelyn, Tenley, Gage, Luna, Dorian, Karissa, Sophie, Neredisia, Mason & Marlee; loving mother, Jennie Cockrill; siblings, Roxanne, Dorothy, Mark & Mickey; aunt, Winnie; numerous nieces & nephews. Doug was predeceased by his father, Walter; uncle, John; grandmother, Elise Weibel; mother-in-law, Sophie Giant; sister-in-law, Mary Bernice Brereton; adopted father, Elie Brertton. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Monday, November 17 & 18 at United Church, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. at United Church, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery, Saddle Lake.
