Obituary
On February 5, 2013 Mr. Donald Parkin of St. Paul passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Wanda; 2 sons, Mike (Wendy) Parkin of Peace River & Terry (Kelley) Parkin of Kamloops; 3 step-daughters, Anita (Darrell) Dingwall, Shelly (Gord) Lake & Pam (Rob) Irwin all of Edmonton; 7 grandchildren, Dale (Tanya Marten) Parkin & Lindsey Parkin, Chris, Kyle & Brayden Dingwall, Sarah & Emma Irwin; & 1 great-granddaughter, Abigail Parkin; also numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by the mother of his children, Shirley; brother, George Parkin; and his parents, William and Maude Parkin. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Mallaig Unity Hall, Mallaig, with Pastor Joe Massop officiating. Cremation has taken place.
