Obituary
On July 18, 2013, Mr. David Denies Smereka of Lindbergh passed away at the age of 72 years. David will be deeply missed by his 3 children, Denis (Candace) Smereka, Wayne (Brianne Greening) Smereka & Jason Smereka; 5 grandchildren, Jayla, Caitlin, Ty, Anthony & Dae; 4 sisters & 3 brothers, Rose (Ludwig) Siemers, Lucy (Harry) Hladchuk, Lydia (Al) Audette, Verna Filewich, Ken (Gladys) Smereka, Paul (Jean) Smereka & Adam (Peggy) Smereka; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. David was predeceased by his parents, John & Mona Smereka; wife, Helen & brother-in-law, Harry Filewich. Following David’s wishes, no service will be taking place. If desired, donations may be made to Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, S.T.A.R.S., Stollery Children’s Hospital, or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
