Obituary
On August 7, 2013, Mr. Chad Bussey of Glendon passed away at the age of 39 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; 1 son & 3 daughters, Dadeyn of Grande Prairie, Madison, Logyn & Gracie-Lyn all of Glendon; mother, Norma Grimm of Grande Prairie; father, Bill Bussey (Lori) of Comox, B.C.; numerous nieces, nephews & extended family. He was predeceased by his son, Gage Bussey; “POPS” Bussey & Grandma Grimm. Open House Benefit Supper will be held Thursday, August 15 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Goodridge Hall, Goodridge. I am Norma’s cousin; our Mothers were sisters.
I met Chad only once. This was about twenty years ago in Manitoba at a family anniversary celebration. Chad was one year older than my daughter and they hit it off pretty well. They hung out with some of the older people until that wasn’t cool and then ventured out as teenagers. They invited younger teenagers to tag along with them. Fond memories were made that weekend.
Because we lived a thousand miles apart the friendships never grew. However, my daughter often would mention Chad.
For you Tracy…Our very sincere sympathy. This is a terrible time. You and your family must lean on each other. Lean on your larger family, your friends and the community.
Although I cannot attend on Thursday I will attend on Thanksgiving in Rycroft.

Dear Norma,
How terrible to hear of your son’s passing. I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. My heart hurts for you. I cannot imagine what you must be experiencing at this sad time but please rest in the love of those who care for you. Your compassion has touched so many. Let your family and friends now be there for you.
My prayers also go out to the Chad’s wife and children who have lost a partner and a dad. May God be near them supporting with his comfort as they walk through this time together.
